Process Engineering Manager

The Process Engineering Manager will play a pivotal role in translating customer process requirements into deliverable, cost-effective, and profitable solutions.

This key position involves taking a lead role with internal and external design teams and project managers to influence and optimise design concepts into solutions that can be built safely and delivered on time.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand client process needs and draft high-level design concepts for customers.
  • Collaborate with design teams to develop reliable and efficient solutions meeting client requirements.
  • Work with project managers and tendering teams to cost proposed solutions.
  • Support business development teams in preparing quotations and tender documents.
  • Contribute to design, procurement, and project delivery activities.
  • Provide support for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
  • Develop documentation for assembly, commissioning, and operation of modular systems.
  • Define standard product offerings aligned with market needs.
Candidate Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Level 8 degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience managing process or design teams.
  • Strong commercial awareness with focus on cost-effective solution delivery.
  • Extensive technical knowledge of process design, construction, and commissioning of water treatment plants.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in the water industry.

Personal Qualities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites in Ireland and the UK.
