About the Role:
As a highly organized and detail-oriented Home Care Coordinator/Scheduler, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the day-to-day operations of our office run smoothly. This involves managing administrative tasks, supporting office staff, and coordinating care assistants' schedules on a daily basis using our Bluebird Care rostering system.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure timely and safe delivery of care to customers by allocating field-based care staff appropriately.
  2. Address operational issues related to customer care calls and provide support to all office staff as needed.
  3. Provide administrative support to various areas of the office, including general office duties and report preparation.
  4. Serve as the first point of contact for care staff and clients, answering phone calls and responding to emails.


Duties and Accountabilities:
  1. Answer incoming calls in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
  2. Coordinate care assistants' schedules daily using Bluebird Care's rostering system.
  3. Maintain accurate records, organize files, and update databases as required.
  4. Liaise with the Supervisor to ensure sufficient care staff are recruited to meet business needs.
  5. Process changes to customers' care and support plans, ensuring adequate cover for timely delivery.
  6. Use IT systems to allocate care staff to provide care and support to customers.
  7. Take part in the out-of-hours emergency on-call rota after receiving full training and assessment.
