About the Role

This is a key position within the Corporate Brand and Reputation team, contributing to the development of ESB's reputation strategy and providing thought leadership.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of corporate events for ESB, from creative development through to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualise and produce creative events, conferences, and experiences that communicate ESB's brand purpose and value to stakeholders in a compelling way.
  • Seek out speakers, entertainers, influencers, and other key people to participate in ESB events and conferences.
  • Manage the Ardnacrusha Experience (public tours of Ardnacrusha Power Station).
  • Ensure quality business case rationales are prepared with robust goals, KPIs, and effectiveness tracking in place.
  • Negotiate contracts with partners and suppliers and ensure compliance with procurement processes and procedures.
  • Engage with safety colleagues to undertake safety audits and develop safety plans and policies relating to ESB events.
  • Monitor and report on industry developments and competitor activity.

Requirements

Relevant 3rd Level qualification or equivalent work experience is essential.

Minimum of five years' experience in a similar role.

A creative thinker with the appetite and ability to take on ambitious and high-profile projects as well as smaller events.

Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience dealing with internal and external stakeholders at the highest levels.
