The Aged Care Services Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the quality of care delivered to our residents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. The role also involves managing the daily operations of the nursing home, including financial administration, human resources, and facilities management.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in clinical leadership, with experience in managing teams and driving business growth. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, residents, and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
Clinical Governance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our residents, develop and implement policies and procedures to guide clinical practice, and monitor adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Operational Management: Manage the daily operations of the nursing home, including financial administration, human resources, and facilities management, ensuring the smooth running of the facility and provision of exceptional care to residents.
Leadership and Development: Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of care delivered to our residents, identify and develop leaders within the organisation, and provide coaching and mentoring to support the growth and development of staff.
Requirements:
- A qualified RGN with at least 3 years' experience in the last 6 years in care of the older person.
- Post-registration management qualification in health or a related field.
- No less than 3 years' experience in a management capacity in the health and social care area.
- Registered on appropriate part of NMBI live register.
- Proven track record in healthcare clinical management.
- Excellent Leadership, Organisational and Communication skills.
- Sound decision-making ability and results-driven.
- Good appreciation of finance issues.
- Ability to motivate self and others and work on own initiative.
- Ability to work well and promote a team environment.
- Willingness to be flexible and adapt to the needs of the company.
