Senior Private Equity Fund Accountant

The Private Equity Director is responsible for leading all aspects of the NAV calculation for Private Equity funds, reporting to the Private Equity Managing Director. This includes contributing to the development and implementation of system, procedural, and operational enhancements, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of NAV calculations, and key contacts for ad-hoc client requests and issues.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for assigned fund accounting groups.
- Ensure the assigned private equity accounting group operates within a clearly defined, documented, and tested control environment.
- Responsible for resolving exceptional problems and taking on special projects or tasks as assigned.
- Develop and maintain relationships between HedgeServ and client brokers, auditors, and legal counsel.
- Responsible for new client conversion and initialization to the HedgeServ platform.
Qualifications:
- Accounting, Finance, Legal, or Business degree.
- Minimum 2.2 honors degree.
- Strong IT literacy, verbal, and written communication skills.
