About the Job

This exciting opportunity exists within a venture-backed company that has gained significant traction in scaling global payments companies. As part of this team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust compliance framework, ensuring seamless EMI license application processes, and providing expert legal advice across the business.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance framework, supporting the EMI license application process.
  • Provide strategic legal guidance to various stakeholders, particularly regarding payments, regulatory obligations, partnerships, and contract negotiation.
  • Manage day-to-day compliance activities and contribute to the launch of new features and products from both legal and compliance perspectives.
  • Review and update core legal documents, including Terms & Conditions.
  • Negotiate with service providers, support fundraising efforts, and manage partnerships with key players such as banks and card schemes.
About You

We seek an exceptional candidate with at least five years of experience in post-qualification roles. Your extensive knowledge of legal and compliance matters, combined with your adaptability and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, makes you an ideal fit for this position.

In the initial stages, the role will involve hybrid work arrangements until our Irish office is established. Once operational, the position will shift to office-based, offering flexibility in managing your workday. Occasional travel may be required for regulatory meetings and team gatherings.
