About the Role

As a Quality Manager with a focus on Nursing Home Sector, you will play a key leadership role in advancing quality and governance across various settings. You will work closely with management teams to ensure that all care services meet regulatory standards and reflect a commitment to excellence and person-centred care.

  • Oversee quality assurance processes, implement policies, support staff development, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work directly with Chief Clinical Officers or designated representatives to achieve quality goals.
  • Collaborate with Persons in Charge (PICs) and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality care.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of HIQA standards, healthcare regulations, and person-centred care frameworks.
  • Lead audits, manage risk, and support teams in a regulatory environment.
  • Deliver training and mentoring on quality and compliance to colleagues.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Registered Nurse qualification with current NMBI registration.
  • A qualification in healthcare management, quality improvement, or clinical governance is essential.
  • A full Irish driver's license and willingness to travel across sites are required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a quality, governance, or compliance role within healthcare.
