Role Overview
The Credit Portfolio Senior Officer is a senior-level position responsible for leading activities across credit portfolio management and governance. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing credit risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses and enhance returns.
- Coordinating with internal teams to develop and maintain risk models and stress testing scenarios.
- Providing expert advice on credit risk management and mitigation strategies to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
In addition to the above responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be responsible for:
- Managing the credit risk associated with a portfolio of $150 billion.
- Coordinating with internal teams to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Providing regular updates to senior stakeholders on credit risk exposure and trends.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in credit risk management, with a focus on portfolio management and governance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information and communicate effectively to senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with IFRS and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
