Nursing Quality Manager Position
Our organization seeks experienced Quality Managers to join our nursing home team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and continuous improvement in the South East Region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and oversight to PICs in maintaining high standards of care aligned with HIQA regulations and Sonas policies.
- Lead the implementation of quality assurance systems, audits, and improvement plans.
- Maintain accurate records of audit outcomes and ensure follow-through on recommendations.
- Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating policies and procedures in line with national standards.
- Oversee the implementation of safeguarding frameworks across all homes.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with current NMBI registration.
- Postgraduate qualification in healthcare management, quality improvement, or clinical governance (essential).
- Full Irish driver's license (essential) and willingness to travel across sites.
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a quality, governance, or compliance role within healthcare.
Desirable Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of HIQA standards, healthcare regulations, and person-centered care frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead audits, manage risk, and support teams in a regulatory environment.
- Strong analytical, report-writing, and communication skills.
