What We're Looking For:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Principal Ecologist to join our team in Dublin. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in ecological consultancy or a similar role and will be able to demonstrate expertise in the following areas:
  • Ecological impact assessments and habitat regulation assessments.
  • Environmental law and policy changes in Ireland and Europe.
  • Leadership and management skills, with experience of mentoring and developing a team of ecologists.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and team player, with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. They will also have the ability to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in ecological best practices, environmental law, and policy changes in Ireland and Europe.

Some of the key qualifications and experience we are looking for include:

  • A degree in ecology, environmental science, conservation biology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in ecological consultancy or a similar role.
  • Full membership of a professional body such as the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) or equivalent.
