Job Title: Financial Planning Analyst

This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that involves financial planning, cost accounting, and business partnering. As a Financial Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for owning product costings, driving efficiency, and partnering with leadership to shape smarter decisions.

Responsibilities:
  1. Business Partnering: You will work closely with the MD, FD, and Factory Manager to support decisions on cost, CAPEX, and innovation.
  2. Cost & Margin Analysis: You will own and report on product costings and gross margins.
  3. Track SKU-level performance and identify profit improvement opportunities.
  4. Performance Reporting: Develop clear KPIs, analyse plant performance, and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
  5. Efficiency Modelling: Build tools to track and improve line and product efficiency.
  6. On-Site Insight: Spend up to 40% of your time on the factory floor capturing real-time data to inform costing accuracy.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in financial planning or cost accounting in manufacturing
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Experience with costing, KPIs, forecasting, and efficiency analysis
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and reporting systems
  • Sharp attention to detail and a proactive mindset
  • Power BI, Tableau, SQL or OLAP tools
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Food Science
  • FMCG or food industry experience

Benefits:

Up to €80,000 per annum.

Work Arrangement:

Office based, 5 days a week.
