Electrical Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our service engineering team in Kildare. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and experience in project management.

The Role
  • Electrical Design: Develop electrical designs adhering to regulations, standards, and specifications, with attention to detail and innovation.
  • Service Project Execution: Plan, design, budget, purchase, install, and commission electrical systems and components for projects, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Site Supervision & Commissioning: Oversee site activities, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and manage the commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems, minimizing risks and delays.
  • Motor Control & Instrumentation: Work with motor control systems, MCCs, and instrumentation commissioning, troubleshooting and optimizing performance.
  • ATEX Design & Installation: Support ATEX design and installation, leveraging expertise to drive results.
Requirements
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification, with a strong foundation in electrical design principles.
  • Minimum of 3 years Manufacturing experience, preferably in the processing or related industries, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Familiarity with electrical design practices, regulations, and standards, including experience with electrical design software.
  • Proven experience with motor control, MCCs, and instrumentation commissioning, with a focus on efficiency and reliability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English, and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and execution, with a customer-centric approach.
  • ATEX design and installation experience (advantage), with knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
