TN Ireland is a leading player in the healthcare industry, delivering innovative solutions that make a real difference to patients' lives. We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineering Team Lead to join our team in Dublin.

The SRE Manager will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of our platform and product operations. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of SRE principles, including monitoring, alerting, error budgets, fault analysis, and other common reliability engineering concepts. The ideal candidate will have experience building and leading engineering teams, ideally in SRE, and will be passionate about continuous improvements.

As a leader, you will coach and mentor team members, helping them achieve service goals and build career paths. You will also optimize cloud data workloads for security, cost, performance, latency, reliability, and availability, drive incident management, tier 2 support, and post-mortem analysis, and interact and communicate collaboratively at the highest technical levels with internal and external stakeholders.

About the Job Description

  • Lead the European SRE team in daily agile practices.
  • Recruit and lead the team, helping them achieve service goals and build career paths.
  • Optimize cloud data workloads for security, cost, performance, latency, reliability, and availability.
  • Drive incident management, tier 2 support, and post-mortem analysis.
  • Support audits and compliance.
  • Implement effective standards, methodologies, and processes for continuous improvement.
  • Interact and communicate collaboratively at the highest technical levels with internal and external stakeholders.

About the Ideal Candidate

  • 3+ years experience building and leading engineering teams, ideally in SRE.
  • 3+ years experience in product operations.
  • 6+ years in critical, large scale distributed systems experience, combining software development and operations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working with multi-functional technical and business teams and varying levels of management.
  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Continual knowledge transfer, training, and mentoring of staff.
  • Implement structured engineering and operations processes.
