We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team in supporting vaccine manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing technical support to Production in all aspects of machine and equipment maintenance, installation, and modification;
- Operating and cleaning process equipment as necessary;
- Maintaining process and production equipment, ensuring ongoing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure continuous and reliable operation;
- Managing equipment shutdown scheduling to minimize downtime;
- Supporting maintenance planning and preventative maintenance through work orders, calibrations, PMs, etc.
About the Team
You will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Requirements
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Performing detailed maintenance, calibrations, PMs, and troubleshooting;
- Operating and monitoring production support equipment using MES/DCS and PLC systems;
- Liaising with vendors for parts and system upgrades;
- Documenting maintenance work, upgrades, and parts used;
- Providing technical data for spare parts and asset entry into the CMMS;
- Assisting with facility upkeep and providing responsive customer support.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A time-served MAMF Apprenticeship or equivalent Certificate/Diploma in Engineering or related discipline;
- Experience in a cGMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment;
- Hands-on experience in preventive/reactive maintenance;
- Understanding of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and pneumatic processes;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related applications.
