About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team in supporting vaccine manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical support to Production in all aspects of machine and equipment maintenance, installation, and modification;
  • Operating and cleaning process equipment as necessary;
  • Maintaining process and production equipment, ensuring ongoing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure continuous and reliable operation;
  • Managing equipment shutdown scheduling to minimize downtime;
  • Supporting maintenance planning and preventative maintenance through work orders, calibrations, PMs, etc.

You will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Requirements

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  1. Performing detailed maintenance, calibrations, PMs, and troubleshooting;
  2. Operating and monitoring production support equipment using MES/DCS and PLC systems;
  3. Liaising with vendors for parts and system upgrades;
  4. Documenting maintenance work, upgrades, and parts used;
  5. Providing technical data for spare parts and asset entry into the CMMS;
  6. Assisting with facility upkeep and providing responsive customer support.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A time-served MAMF Apprenticeship or equivalent Certificate/Diploma in Engineering or related discipline;
  • Experience in a cGMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment;
  • Hands-on experience in preventive/reactive maintenance;
  • Understanding of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and pneumatic processes;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related applications.
