About the Role

This position involves providing person-centred support to residents, facilitating their involvement in daily activities, and promoting independence. As a key member of the house team, you will contribute to maintaining a safe, welcoming environment that fosters personal growth and development.

Main Responsibilities

- Provide individualised support to residents, catering to their unique needs and preferences
- Facilitate participation in recreational and leisure activities, encouraging social interaction and community integration
- Assist residents with daily tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management
- Develop and implement person-centred plans, ensuring seamless continuity of care
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and shared knowledge

Requirements

- Minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care Studies or equivalent (QQI Framework)
- 1 year's experience working with vulnerable adults or individuals with intellectual disabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Teams
- Full driver's licence and availability of own car (essential requirement)
