Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for project delivery through initial work winning phase, design, construction, commissioning, and handover.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project management through initial work winning phase, design, construction, commissioning, and handover
  2. Manage Murphy Teams and stakeholders including Clients and Eirgrid/ESBN
  3. Lead projects involving HV/MV and renewable energy generation assets, substations, grid connections, data centre projects, overhead power lines, and underground power cables
Qualifications and Skills:
  1. Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer (Chartered with Engineers Ireland preferred)
  2. Minimum of 5 years' experience working for a Tier 1 Electrical Contractor in Ireland as a HV/MV Project Manager or Senior Electrical Engineer
  3. Demonstrable experience in managing HV/MV projects including Safety, Health, and Environmental Management, Design management within Eirgrid/ESBN parameters, Procurement of major equipment, Planning, programming, resourcing, Commercial and Contract management, QA/QC, and Commissioning of projects
