Electrical Specialist

We are seeking an experienced maintenance electrician to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and repair of all electrical equipment in manufacturing and plant areas.
About the Role:This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires flexibility, as you must be available to work various shifts. You will be working closely with our facilities lead and other departments to ensure that all electrical equipment is functioning optimally.
You will be responsible for providing high-level technical support, troubleshooting equipment-related problems, and implementing repairs. Additionally, you will drive ongoing and preventative maintenance programs, maintain accurate data for analysis, and support engineering and production personnel on continuous improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support in a high-volume environment.
- Troubleshoot equipment-related problems and implement repairs.
- Drive ongoing and preventative maintenance programs.

- Support engineering and production personnel on continuous improvements.
- Adjusting and calibrating instruments and equipment to ensure accurate readings and control.
- Read and interpret drawings, manuals, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects using lean and six sigma tools.
- Foster a culture of innovation by identifying solutions to process problems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and participate in multifunctional teams.
Requirements:
- QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft – Electrical.
- 2-5 years' experience in a medical device or pharma environment.
- Demonstrate multi-skilling in previous employment.
- Strong communication skills and analytical problem-solving skills.
- An understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools is advantageous.
- Good PLC Programming skills and Networking experience are required.
- Familiarity with Siemens/Allen Bradley PLC Programming is preferable.
- Ability to troubleshoot using software-based tools and diagnostic equipment.
