About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Plant Assets Manager to join our client's team, responsible for managing and overseeing the physical assets within their business. This role focuses on the optimal performance, maintenance, tracking, and safety of all company plant / machinery, while managing costs and compliance with industry regulations to ensure operational efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Develop and implement strategies to enhance the operational efficiency of plant and machinery, including monitoring KPIs and generating comprehensive reports.
  2. Machinery Operations & Maintenance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all plant and machinery are properly maintained, serviced, and operated in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
  3. Budgeting & Cost Control: Manage budgets and costs associated with the procurement, maintenance, and operation of plant and machinery, identifying areas for cost reduction and implementing efficient solutions.
  4. Vendor & Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality goods and services.
  5. Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all plant and machinery operations comply with relevant health and safety regulations, conducting regular audits and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

**Requirements:**

  • Experience: Minimum 4-5 years of experience in plant machinery management, preferably in industries such as manufacturing, fabrication, and M&E works.
  • Skills & Qualifications: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems; experience in budget management and cost-control; proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Education: Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
