Research Scientist: Quantum Computing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team of experts in quantum computing. As a member of our research group, you will be responsible for conducting applied research on emerging technologies and developing novel solutions.

  • Conduct research analysis, design, and development of quantum solutions.
  • Investigate emerging quantum capabilities, technologies, and techniques.
  • Create and present thought leadership content.
  • Contribute to requirements for new applications and customizations, adhering to standards, processes, and best practices.
Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Proficiency in Python with scientific libraries (NumPy, SciPy).
  • Experience with quantum frameworks: Qiskit, PennyLane or Cirq.
  • Familiarity with classical optimization techniques and tools.
  • Machine learning experience, especially with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Version control (Git) and basic software engineering practices.
  • Cloud quantum platforms: IBM Quantum, AWS Braket, Azure Quantum, D-Wave.
  • A background in physics, CS, or related field; research experience is a plus.
