Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing innovative, seasonal menus using locally sourced ingredients. They will lead, mentor, and inspire the kitchen team to ensure high performance and a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and execute menus that showcase modern Irish and European cuisine
- Lead and motivate the kitchen team to achieve exceptional results
- Manage food preparation, portion control, and presentation standards
- Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management and supplier relationships
- Ensure full compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Collaborate with Executive chefs and General Managers to deliver an exceptional guest experience
- Drive creativity and development within the kitchen, including regular tastings and training sessions
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-end or award-winning kitchen
- A strong creative flair with a deep passion for modern cuisine
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- A deep commitment to quality, seasonality, and sustainability
- Strong financial acumen - confident in managing budgets and KPIs
- HACCP certified, with a thorough understanding of food safety and kitchen compliance
- A hands-on leader, calm under pressure, and solutions-oriented
