Job Description

TN Ireland is seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to support continuous improvement initiatives within the business.

This is a hybrid role based in Limerick, with primary responsibility for supporting a portfolio of applications as a functional systems analyst.

The successful candidate will proactively work with IT teams to ensure systems are working effectively and that continuous improvement is prioritized in terms of system configuration, utilization, and business reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Application Portfolio Management: Support, manage, and maintain a portfolio of applications at a functional and admin level.
  • Functional Support and Escalation: Resolve first-line functional support and process issues on systems, and escalate technical incidents or problems to IT teams for prioritization, analysis, and resolution.
  • Process Enhancement: Work collaboratively across all teams to identify opportunities to enhance our processes through system use.
  • Business Requirements Document: Draft business requirements documents to clearly articulate the business challenge, needs, and benefits.
  • Release Management: Plan and provide release management and change control for system upgrades and product enhancements to ensure risk is managed effectively.
  • Testing and Deployment: Participate with peers and teams to ensure on-time testing, sign-off, and deployment of all new deliverables.
  • Documentation and Training: Produce documented processes and relevant support and user guides to ensure effective and efficient work practices, and support the wider team with training on new systems and procedures.
Ideal Experience:
  • Minimum of two years' experience in supporting business systems, preferably on an ERP.
  • Experience working as a system admin/analyst or business systems support role across multiple business systems.
  • Business analysis and requirement gathering experience with proven methodologies.
  • Experience drafting and publishing process maps and user support documentation.
  • Strong communication skills and experience dealing with IT Teams.
  • Experience developing reports on end-user tools such as Discoverer, PowerBi or TargIT.
