Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Process Engineer to lead the implementation and optimization of manufacturing processes for replicate equipment used in product scale-up.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Engineering team and apply your expertise in process development, characterization, and qualification/validation.

About the Role
  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing process improvements, optimizing manufacturing steps and procedures within a regulated quality system.
  • You will lead or support equipment/process qualifications including protocol development and execution.
  • You will develop project timelines, provide updates to project leadership, and consult with vendors to produce equipment and materials that meet product specifications.
  • You will analyze data, present findings to technical teams, and transfer process knowledge to receiving site operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Implement sound engineering principles in the development and improvement of manufacturing processes.
  2. Leverage experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation of experiments to drive process improvements.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth process transitions and effective knowledge transfer.
  4. Develop and maintain project timelines, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of experience in process development, characterization, and qualification/validation, or M.S. with 3+ years related experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to deal with ambiguity/uncertainty.
  • Familiarity with experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation of experiments; JMP experience preferred.
