Your role will involve implementing and servicing equipment at customer sites in Ireland. As a field service technician, you will ensure reliable operation of our customers' production equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and unplanned maintenance on equipment, including pump rack systems, vacuum pumps, gas abatement systems, and trace heating systems.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with stakeholders, including customers and third-party suppliers.
- Resolve equipment issues, both hardware and software-related, to ensure all equipment is in production-ready state before handover to customers.
- Accurately record completed activities and document them in prescribed systems.
- Complete routine PMs following clearly defined procedures.
- Evaluate technical issues and escalate to peers as necessary.
- Identify potential issues that may impact maintenance schedules.
- Comply with site environmental, health, and safety requirements.
- Participate in planning meetings when required.
- Hold a relevant technical qualification (e.g., mechanical, electrical, instrumentation) at L6 level.
- Prior experience in equipment maintenance is an advantage.
- Demonstrate practical problem-solving skills and hands-on approach to technical challenges.
- Familiarity with low-voltage electrical systems and ability to read diagrams.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Basic IT literacy.
