Job Overview

The role of Cybersecurity Leader is to spearhead the development and implementation of comprehensive security strategies for software applications. This position requires a strong understanding of security protocols, threat modeling, and risk assessment techniques.

Key Responsibilities

This role involves leading and performing threat modeling and security architecture reviews for our products and applications. You will collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle. Additionally, you will identify security risks and vulnerabilities in our applications and products. Working closely with subject matter experts, you will develop vulnerability remediation plans and drive implementation. Your responsibilities also include performing security code review, identifying common implementation pitfalls that lead to security vulnerabilities, and triaging vulnerability findings through industry-standard threat scoring practices (CVSS). Furthermore, you will develop and apply security configuration, deployment best practices, and key security controls for deployment hardening. As a Cybersecurity Leader, you will deliver security awareness training to the development organization on a periodic basis and stay updated on new offensive threats and defensive technologies. Finally, you will monitor the software industry for vulnerabilities that could affect our products.

Requirements and Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced individual with a minimum of 7+ years of progressively responsible experience as a security engineer. At least 2+ years of focus on secure SDLC is required. You should have demonstrated knowledge of common vulnerabilities and corresponding remediation approaches. Advanced technical knowledge of techniques, standards, and state-of-the-art capabilities for identity management, authentication, authorization, Single-Sign-On, applied cryptography, and security vulnerability remediation is necessary. Strong working experience of security architecture assessment and threat modeling for web applications and services is also required. Knowledge of Azure cloud and container security is preferred. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF or similar are a plus. Additionally, you should possess strong written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
