Brightwater is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety management systems across multiple sites.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety management systems across multiple sites.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments across over 20 sites.
- Deliver effective health and safety training programs and inductions to employees.
- Manage and report any accidents, incidents, or near-misses.
- Keep up-to-date with regulatory changes and ensure projects meet statutory health and safety requirements.
Requirements:
- A recognized qualification in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a health and safety capacity with a warehouse background.
- Experience with racking and forklifts, including inspections.
- Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
