Accounts Payable Coordinator

The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the finance department, ensuring accurate and timely transactional finance and internal reporting. Key responsibilities include maintaining accounts payable records, reconciling supplier statements, completing bank and credit card reconciliations, and supporting supplier payments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records on an ERP system.
  • Reconcile supplier statements to ensure accuracy and detect any discrepancies.
  • Complete thorough bank and credit card reconciliations to prevent errors.
  • Support the payment process for suppliers by resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal departments to resolve any problems or concerns.
  • Utilize automated AP systems to efficiently process invoices for multiple companies.
  • Prepare confidential purchase orders and analyze data trends as needed.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1-year experience in Accounts Payable in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central is preferred).
  • Experience with Automated AP Systems (Continia is preferred).
  • Desirable: Commencement of IATI or equivalent training.
  • Strong Excel skills are required.
  • Able to work at a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills, including good report writing skills.
