Job Title: Governance Risk Compliance Lead
Job Description:This role is responsible for developing and implementing effective governance, risk management, and compliance strategies to ensure the organization's operations align with industry best practices.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal and regulatory affairs, with expertise in data privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST. They will be able to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive business success while mitigating risks.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, conducting regular risk assessments, and ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations. The successful candidate will also oversee audits, certifications, and third-party assessments to maintain operational credibility.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- 10+ years of legal experience in governance, risk management, or compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Information Security, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred).
- Proven expertise in regulatory frameworks, data privacy, and cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, or similar compliance frameworks.
- Background in managing third-party risk or vendor compliance programs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
