Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Senior Occupational Therapist.

You will work closely with the Occupational Therapist Manager to ensure the coordination and delivery of a high-quality Occupational Therapy Service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a high-standard Occupational Therapy service in a designated area
  • Carry out clinical and educational duties as assigned by the Occupational Therapist Manager
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Requirements
  1. Registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU or satisfaction of the conditions set out in Section 91
  2. 3 years post-qualification clinical experience with 1 year of experience working in palliative care
Desirable Requirements
  • Membership of the Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland (AOTI) and/or equivalent Occupational Therapy professional body
  • Postgraduate training/qualifications in Palliative Care

A panel may be formed from which future Senior Occupational Therapist positions may be filled.
