This exciting opportunity focuses on providing care for young people aged 11 to 17 in a new residential centre. As a Social Care Worker, you will create a nurturing atmosphere where children feel safe, respected, and valued.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support children in developing life skills, including education, personal development, and social skills.
  • Promote positive behavior support strategies, maintaining consistent boundaries and ensuring the child's physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement individualized care plans, prioritizing the child's welfare and protection.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, families, and external agencies to ensure seamless care provision.
Essential Criteria:
  • QQI Level 7 Social Care qualification or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience working with children's services.
  • Valid full Irish driving license.
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland.
