We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Communications Advisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a proven track record of devising and implementing successful communications strategies.
">Key responsibilities will include managing project communications, developing and implementing project communications plans, and working closely with clients to achieve high levels of satisfaction and win-win outcomes. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for internal stakeholder engagement, external stakeholder engagement, writing project briefing sheets, press releases, website articles, social media content, and other communications materials.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Manage project communications to ensure the client's vision and objectives are achieved
- Develop and implement project communications plans to engage stakeholders and promote project awareness
- Internal stakeholder engagement, including liaison with technical colleagues and multi-disciplinary teams, preparing internal reports, and presenting to internal meetings
- External stakeholder engagement, including with contractors, residents' associations, interest groups, and elected representatives
- Write project briefing sheets, press releases, website articles, social media content, and other communications materials
- Message development to make technical or complex information accessible and relevant to various stakeholders
- Plan and deliver public information/public consultation open days/evenings and online events
- Organise, attend, present, and record notes at stakeholder meetings
- Event management for official openings of water and wastewater projects
- Maintain up-to-date contact databases in line with GDPR

Your ImpactAs a Senior Project Communications Advisor, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our goals by developing and implementing effective communications strategies that engage stakeholders and promote project awareness.

What We Are Looking ForWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a proven track record of success in communications and stakeholder engagement.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a deep understanding of stakeholder engagement principles and practices.
The candidate should also have experience in developing and implementing communications strategies, working with technical teams, and maintaining up-to-date contact databases.
A minimum of 7 years' post-graduate relevant experience in communications is required, with the majority relating to infrastructural or climate action projects.
The candidate should hold an honours degree (Level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications) in a relevant academic discipline such as Communications, Public Relations, Social Sciences, Behavioural Economics, Law, or Business.
