Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and design, with experience in managing and undertaking design work on various projects. They will also possess excellent technical project coordination skills, with the ability to develop and agree on design processes and deliverables.

  • Manage and undertake design work for electrical engineering services
  • Provide technical project coordination
  • Develop and agree on design processes and deliverables
  • Design and specification of electrical engineering solutions
  • Working with clients and project engineers to define project requirements and develop technical solutions
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Engineering Design and Design Management tasks on Projects as part of an integrated project team
  • Design and specification of Electrical Engineering Solutions to current regulations and design standards
  • Working directly with clients and project engineers to define project requirements and develop technical solutions
  • Pre-Construction Engineering activities and the production of information
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
  • 3 years relevant experience, ideally in a design consultancy environment
  • Knowledge & experience of current CIBSE and ASHRAE Design Guides, Building Regulations, EN and IEC Standards
  • Experience with Electrical Design Software such as Dialux and Amtech or equivalent
