Public Health Postdoctoral Research Position

We invite applications for a temporary post of a Postdoctoral Research Fellow Level 1 within the School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sports Sciences.
The successful candidate will contribute to the national Human Biomonitoring programme in Ireland, assessing environmental exposures to chemicals through blood and urine analysis. Collaboration with international partners in the Partnership for the Assessment of Risks from Chemicals is also involved.
Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to the national Human Biomonitoring programme
- Collaborate with international partners in the Partnership for the Assessment of Risks from Chemicals
- PhD in relevant fields such as Occupational Health, Public Health, Epidemiology
- Research commitment and publication record
- Understanding of research project operations
- Research activity evidence (publications, presentations, awards)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Awareness of equality, diversity, and inclusion
- Experience in human biomonitoring or public health initiatives
- Experience in setting research agendas
This position is suitable for early-stage researchers, recent PhD graduates, or those new to the field. Specific eligibility criteria are outlined.
Additional Information:Salary: €46,305 - €52,863 Per Annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
