Technical Sales Professional

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to take up an internal technical sales role within our organisation.

This permanent position will offer excellent opportunities for growth and professional development, allowing you to work closely with key account customers to provide best-in-class customer service while proactively increasing core product sales.

  • Handle customer enquiries, sales support enquiries, and technical quotations
  • Manage existing accounts and phone-based sales
  • Compile and maintain a business development pipeline for your area of responsibility
  • Build relationships with companies throughout the customer base
  • Operate in a proactive fashion to publicise products and secure orders

The ideal candidate will have a relevant engineering-related third-level academic or vocational qualification and direct experience in or indirect commercial exposure to process, mechanical, and/or electrical engineering, safety systems, plumbing, or 'hard' facilities management segments.

A strong understanding of sales and customer service, an outgoing and positive personality, and the ability to attain basic customer/technical/product knowledge within a relatively short period of time are essential requirements for this role.

The successful candidate will be able to use initiative to follow general guidelines to achieve goals, work unaided and unsupervised as part of the wider team, and have strong knowledge of MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
