About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work with us in Mayo. Our team specializes in Mechanical services installation, with extensive experience in pre-fabricating and installing pipework and structural steel.

  1. The successful candidate will prepare cost estimates for all project phases, including tender documents, contracts, drawings, Bills of Quantity (BoQ), specifications, and budgets.
  2. They will maintain accurate records, perform material take-offs prior to purchase requisitions, and report any irregularities or discrepancies to the project management.
  3. The role involves implementing post-contract duties, working closely with the project team to ensure measurements, variations, and contractual matters are properly recorded and notified.
  4. The position requires managing, examining, controlling, and evaluating subcontractor works, as well as evaluating claims, variations, invoices, and ensuring contractual obligations are satisfied.
  5. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of experience in Quantity surveying/Mechanical Engineering.
  6. They will possess excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, good communication skills, and strong English capability.
