Mechanical Maintenance Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to support the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of mechanical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and reactive maintenance on production and utility equipment.
- Troubleshoot faults and carry out repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Support equipment changeovers, calibrations, and validations as required.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed in line with GMP standards.
- Recognized Mechanical Trade Qualification.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance role within a GMP/pharmaceutical environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems including pumps, valves, HVAC, and utilities.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and GMP documentation practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participation in daily shift handovers and weekly team meetings.
- Support for training and mentoring of junior technicians where applicable.
