Strategic Planner

Role Overview

We are looking for a Strategic Planner to join our growing team and support our ambitious growth.

The successful candidate will play a key role in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and strategic planning to drive business results.

Main Responsibilities

• Understand financial performance, drive and track actions to deliver strategic priorities and key targets
• Provide in-depth profitability analysis to identify opportunities, risks, and inform strategic decisions
• Liaise with key departments to deliver accurate annual and quarterly business plans
• Support scenario planning for business growth with sales functions
• Analyze financial data for new opportunities with assessment of immediate and longer-term returns
• Develop new reporting tools to understand business performance and complement financial reporting
• Partner with Management Accountant to facilitate workload
• Prepare detailed monthly reporting and commentary on performance targets across the organization

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years experience of working in a finance function
• Previous experience working in a similar or manufacturing organization
• Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Strong analytical skills with experience of communicating findings to cross-functional teams
