Senior Electrical Design Engineer vacancy

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing electrical building services and leading technical project coordination.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Preparation, evaluation, and optimization of design concepts
  • Development of electrical building services designs/specifications from customer briefs
  • Conducting feasibility studies on new designs
  • Leading and/or participating in design and review meetings
  • Generating designs in accordance with current codes, guidelines, and best practice
  • Developing cost estimates and tender documents
  • Directing other members of the design team in undertaking their roles and responsibilities
  • Undertaking site inspections and preparing written reports on same
  • Generating production information and developing and managing full product design documentation
  • Resolving client-related issues by problem-solving and troubleshooting designs

The ideal candidate will have a Level 7/8 Degree with experience, strong knowledge of electrical building services design, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Experience in Controls, Automation, or Instrumentation design would be an advantage.

  • Good knowledge of practical Building Services Engineering Design in the Industrial/Pharmaceutical Environment
