Job Title: Kitchen Team Member

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading hospitality company as a Chef de Partie. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food quality and service standards.

Job Description:
  • Assist the Head Chef & Sous Chefs with the overall running of the kitchen, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the production of the highest possible food quality in your assigned section at all times, coordinating and being responsible for other team members in that area.
  • Prepare and properly garnish all food orders as they are received, adhering to menu specifications and maintaining proper plate presentation.
  • Supervise the proper set-up of each item on menus and ensure their readiness and food standard, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
  • Prepare dishes for bar, restaurant, and conference and banqueting outlets, showcasing creativity and innovation in every dish.
  • Adhere to HACCP regulations at all times, prioritizing food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Support fellow kitchen staff in observing appropriate systems of hygiene during food preparation and storage.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Chef de Partie within a food service environment, ideally in hotels or restaurants.
  • Culinary school diploma or equivalent qualification, demonstrating expertise in cooking techniques and knowledge of ingredients.
  • Passion and genuine interest in food, driving innovation and excellence in every dish.
  • Team player attitude, collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good knowledge of HACCP procedures and regulations, upholding high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including mornings/evenings & weekends, public holidays, and any additional shifts as required.
  • Good command of the English language, facilitating effective communication with colleagues and customers.
