Job Title: Financial Advisor

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented financial advisor to join our team.

  • This key role will involve preparing financial statements, tax returns, and VAT submissions for clients.
  • Responsibilities include:
  1. Financial Planning: Prepare annual financial statements, management accounts, and VAT returns for various clients.
  2. Tax Compliance: Handle corporation tax computations and personal tax returns.
  3. Bookkeeping and Accounting: Perform bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing.
  4. Client Support: Liaise directly with clients, providing timely responses to queries.
  5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax legislation.
  6. Audit Support: Assist with audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • A recognised professional accountancy qualification, e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA (fully qualified or part-qualified).
  • A relevant degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field (not always essential but common).
  • Up-to-date CPD to maintain membership and stay current with regulations.
