Job DescriptionThe Azure DevSecOps Engineer will have an emphasis automating workflows and managing cloud-based resources with a keen focus on integrating security into DevOps pipelines.
This role plays a crucial part in executing Northern Trust's cloud security strategy as part of a diverse, multicultural team.
The key responsibilities include:
- Implementing, managing, and optimizing infrastructure automation using Terraform for cloud environments, including network, storage, compute, and monitoring resources.
- Developing and maintaining automation scripts using Python and PowerShell to manage cloud resources, security controls, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, testing, and management of infrastructure.
- Collaborating with development, operations, and security teams to integrate security policies and best practices into CI/CD workflows.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, Security, or DevOps (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure Security Engineer, CompTIA Security+).
- Expertise in Azure/AWS services including Compute, Networking, Storage, Security, and Monitoring.
- Experience in DevSecOps, cloud automation, and infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in Python and PowerShell for scripting and automation.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and ARM Templates.
- Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based infrastructure deployments.
- Experience using Git and other version control systems.
