About the Role

As a Senior Biztalk Developer, you will lead the full software development lifecycle, designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining complex integration solutions using BizTalk technology. You will collaborate with business analysts and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into maintainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Software Development Lifecycle: Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of BizTalk-based integrations in line with departmental and ISO:27001 standards.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with business analysts and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into maintainable solutions.
  • BizTalk Expertise: Design and implement BizTalk-based integrations, building and maintaining BizTalk Maps, orchestrations, and Business Rules Engine (BRE).
  • Technical Requirements: Administer BizTalk System and Security configurations, monitoring and troubleshooting BizTalk environments across Development, UAT, and Production.
  • Project Delivery: Deploy and migrate BizTalk applications across versions, ensuring timely delivery of projects that support critical services and infrastructure.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in software development, with proven experience working within the public sector.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong expertise in BizTalk Development, including .NET, HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, and JavaScript, as well as proficiency in SQL skills including writing complex queries and stored procedures for MSSQL Server.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with various transport protocols: SOAP, S/MIME, HTTP/s, File, FTP/s, SFTP, POP3, SMTP, and experience with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and REST APIs.
