Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and skilled Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building reports, dashboards, and automation solutions to provide clear insights on key cost drivers and support business decisions.

The ideal candidate will have significant exposure within the team and also to the wider organisation. If you are analytical and skilled at building phenomenal working relationships, then this position is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and maintain reports, dashboards and automation solutions to provide clear insights on key cost drivers and support business decisions.
  • Manage key reference data for the team, including identifying data needs and resolving any gaps.
  • Oversee end-to-end solution delivery, including gathering business requirements, crafting & building solutions, and managing testing, training, and rollout.
  • Partner with other teams on delivery of complex projects.
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests for help, such as approving and provisioning access to reporting solutions, investigating data discrepancies, recommending appropriate tools for a given data need, etc.
  • Collaborate with other members of the finance team to develop reporting solutions and provide training in their use.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • 3+ years of Tableau development experience.
  • 3+ years of SQL experience.
  • 3+ years of using Python (or other scripting languages) for automation & data transformation.
  • Experience managing data pipelines (e.g. extract-transform-load processes).
  • Experience with reference data maintenance, e.g. hierarchy or mapping updates.
  • Excellent planning and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and outstanding business judgement to respond swiftly to changing business needs.
