This role offers an exciting opportunity to work as a physiotherapist, providing high-quality services to patients in a sports medicine clinic.

About the Role:
  • The physiotherapist will assess and diagnose injuries using various techniques.
  • Develop effective treatment plans to promote recovery and prevent future injuries.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assess and diagnose injuries using a variety of techniques.
  2. Develop and implement effective treatment plans to promote recovery and prevent future injuries.
  3. Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including orthopaedic surgeons and sports medicine physicians, to provide comprehensive care.
  4. Deliver institute-led classes across multiple populations, including chronic disease management and post-surgery classes.
  5. Accept clinical responsibility for a designated caseload of patients and organise their care efficiently and effectively.
  6. Participate in research and development of evidence-based protocols for physiotherapy within UPMC Sports Medicine.
Requirements:
  • MISCP and CORU registration.
  • Experience in injury screening, diagnostic, manual therapy, and sports rehabilitation.
  • Strong knowledge of injury prevention methods and recovery strategies.
  • Evidence of a structured CPD portfolio, including postgraduate qualifications.
