Job Overview

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Electromechanical Assembly Specialist to join a dynamic team at a leading manufacturer in North Dublin.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for assembling and testing products according to company procedures and drawings.

You will also assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment, ensuring that all equipment and records are properly managed.

Benefits include 25 days' holiday, pension, healthcare, overtime pay, bonus, canteen, parking, and overtime at 1.5/2x rates.

Total package value: up to €48,000 + overtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test products per company procedures and drawings.
  • Maintain a sanitary and safe work area and equipment in accordance with Company procedures.
  • Complete all necessary documentation and ensure that all records are accurately maintained and accessible.
  • Assist Engineering in the initial validation, installation, and verification of new assembly procedures, equipment, and products.
  • Assist Engineering in the design of test fixtures and modules assembly procedures.
  • Achieve weekly targets through effective teamwork.
  • Ensure that work areas and equipment are maintained in accordance with company requirements and that all safety rules and procedures are observed.
  • Work with Quality procedures, relating to material flow, material handling, processing of defective material, acceptance, and rejection procedures, ECN monitoring, concessions, etc.
  • EHS compliance: PPE and close call process awareness.
  • Train new personnel.
  • Support production ramps to deliver customer product on time to the required quality level.
  • Stock control and other ad hoc duties.

Requirements

  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
  • 2 years' experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Experience as a manufacturing operative in an electro-mechanical environment is a plus.
  • Training in electromechanical assembly would be an advantage.
  • Experience in Electromechanical, Mechatronics, chemical, systems integration would be an advantage.
  • Experience in Lean principles, 5S, Kaizen, and waste elimination would be desirable.
