  • Identify and assess new supply options for current and upcoming purchasing requirements.
  • Arrange and attend supplier meetings to analyse and discuss supplier performance and gain knowledge of products and services offered.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Production Team to finalise and confirm the weekly production schedule based on customer requirements and available material stocks.
  • Place orders with suppliers to ensure specified quantities of products are available for delivery in time, at agreed prices.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (finance, operations, marketing, sales) to align purchasing with organisational needs.
  • Analyse purchasing processes and suggest improvements to ensure continuity of departmental performance.

What Skills You Will Need:

  • 3+ Years Experience in previous purchasing/buyer role.
  • Strong experience in fast-moving manufacturing environment (Construction, Engineering).
  • Thorough working knowledge of supply management, purchasing policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to details to ensure accurate purchase orders.
