Trainee Accountant Role

We are seeking a Trainee Accountant to join our team and contribute to the success of our organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate with a strong academic record and a passion for accounting to develop their skills and gain valuable experience.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of tasks within the finance department, including preparing and completing weekly management accounts and manufacturing based analysis. They will also prepare monthly financial accounts, providing analysis and decision support to the commercial and operations teams.

This is a full-time internship position, reporting to the Financial Controller. The ideal candidate will have recently graduated with a minimum level 7 qualification in Accounting and Finance, Business studies or similar.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and complete weekly management accounts and manufacturing based analysis.
  • Prepare monthly financial accounts, including areas such as capital, costs and returns.
  • Provide analysis and decision support to the commercial and operations teams.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports for the management team.
Qualifications
  • Recently graduated with a minimum level 7 qualification in Accounting and Finance, Business studies or similar.
  • Ambition and commitment to study towards gaining an accountancy qualification.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm, commitment and a positive attitude.
