About the Role

Lead design safety for pharmaceutical and life science projects from our Cork office, reporting to the design safety manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as primary health & safety coordinator during the design phase.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of safety-related documentation.
  • Maintain design safety documentation and lead multidisciplinary risk assessment exercises.
  • Coordinate action closures from risk assessments.
Client Support:
  • Support business development and maintain client relationships.
  • Ensure adherence to general business principles, codes, and standards.
Requirements:
  • Engineering qualification with 10+ years of experience in a multi-disciplinary design office or client engineering team.
  • Background in design or process safety.
  • Familiarity with designing active pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturing facilities is an advantage.
