Job Opportunity: Lead Electrical Engineer in Sustainable Building Design

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team in Dublin. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of sustainable building design.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record in designing and delivering electrical systems for projects across various sectors, from initial concept through detailed design, installation, and commissioning. You will be responsible for developing innovative and sustainable electrical solutions that incorporate net-zero carbon principles, embodied carbon analysis, and circular economy strategies.

In this role, you will collaborate with architects, clients, and other specialists to ensure seamless project integration. Additionally, you will mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.

To excel in this position, you should possess a minimum 12-15 years of post-qualification design experience, preferably within a consultancy environment. Demonstrated experience in the design of Building Services Electrical Systems and knowledge of Irish building regulations (including BCAR) and relevant industry standards are essential.

We are looking for a Chartered Engineer status holder (or near chartered) with a proven track record in delivering innovative electrical engineering solutions. Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills are also required.
