Job Title: Data Governance Specialist

The National Treasury Management Agency provides asset and liability management services to the Irish Government. Its role includes borrowing for the Exchequer and managing the National Debt, as well as overseeing various businesses such as data quality and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing a comprehensive project plan to implement foundational governance structures, improve data quality, and ensure that data meets business needs.
  • Assessing current and future state data quality and governance requirements, and implementing policies and procedures to underpin the Data Governance Framework.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders to design and implement data quality and governance frameworks.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in data analytics and governance within a financial service environment.
  • Prior experience in designing and implementing data quality and governance frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of report building and visualisation tools, preferably Power BI.
  • Commercially focused with strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills.
  • A third-level qualification in finance, banking, or a relevant discipline is preferred, along with professional accountancy qualifications such as ACA, CIMA, or ACCA.
