Job Title: Assistant Director of Nursing

Job Description:

As a key member of the nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for providing guidance and direction to nursing staff. This includes supervising, mentoring, and developing staff, including rostering, delegation, and performance management.

You will oversee daily operations, facilitating communication between healthcare teams and assisting in the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Additionally, you will participate in quality improvement initiatives, identify and manage risks within your area of responsibility, and contribute to service planning and development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need previous experience in the nursing sector in Ireland (minimum 10 years). A preferable background as an ADON or CNM with 5+ years experience is desired. You must also possess a fluent level of English, both written and oral, and have a strong knowledge of HIQA standards.
